As we originally announced two weeks ago, Chelsea Denofa had been seen driving the RX8 and consulting on some setup of the car, and Joon Maeng was later let go from the team. Now it seems that the cycle is complete as Chelsea Denofa has officially been announced as the driver of the car, which will now include Chelsea’s title sponsor BC Racing. WhatMonstersDo released a new rendering of the car, which appears to have BC Racing wheels on it (which is ironic as WhatMonstersDo was started by an employee of Enkei wheels, who previously sponsored the car). Official press release: Two-Time Drift Champion, Chelsea Denofa and Bergenholtz Racing are joining forces. Chelsea will be driving the Nitto Tire BC Racing Mazda RX8 for the remainder of the 2012 Formula Drift Championship Series. “Chelsea is an amazing driver.
