So, I never made one of these so I thought since I was about to do some work to the car I would make one.

My name is Aaren. Some people already know me. If not, It the lanky guy who was helping change tires out at xdc with Shawn.. I used to drive a green 74 datsun 4 door that I hit an event with a few years ago.

Anyway, history..

Grew up redneck and hotrod (ricers are stupid)
Went to MMI in Phoenix.. did bikes for a while(cars and harleys are stupid)
Worked at a chemical company for a couple years (not having cancer is stupid)
Joined the army (fucking with 'Merica is stupid)
Worked Promods for two seasons (volunteering to be the clutch guy is stupid)
Now I work with Autocomp racecars in Haltom City (trying to give drifters a bro hookup is stupid)

Anyway, during or in between all that crap Ive done a whole lot of racin!!! no g on the end for a reason..

Now, Im building the former wifeymobile to drifto status..

Put an F350 motor in it so it'll be as fast as a stock SR 240SX.

My buddy Tony and I did this guy, its fun, but ridiculously slow. Also, Fords are terrible and I hate working on them. Even the Ford GT is retarded.

I have built a lot of really cool, really fast, and one like way fast serious mustang.


You WILL burn up coil packs if you turbo/supercharge it but outside of that just rock like a diablo controller and vortech supercharger and it will be fun to drive.

I do agree that the s197 is a slow car. Its only running like 14's stock.. But, Im not drag racing the car. Once I pull all the interior out it should feel alot better. I will probably leave the drivetrain alone for a while and focus on what's wrong suspension/steering wise with the car. As soon as I can get ahold of Derrick I am hopefully going to have some knuckles.. Im ordering the BC coils tomorrow.


Im still debating on which hydro ebrake setup to go with too..

This car has already been crashed into if that makes you feel any better about it..
I started pulling interior last night.. Sadly this stuff actually doesnt weigh much. Ford decided to make it all out of paper mache. The front seats should be a big weight saving area tho.

Ive got mixed feelings in that area tho. Im still deciding if I should stick with my corbeau's or get something actually fia approved. I have two forzas and one fx1 laying around. I didnt really plan on replacing them but its kinda retarded in my book to build a rad cage for a car then put seats in it that wouldnt be tech'd anywhere. Maybe some cheapo sparco sprints or something just for now.. ??

I also just got off the phone with Jason at wilwood. Im ordering a master direct from them and then just making my own hydro ebrake setup. Im still deciding if it would be worth the effort to go dual calipers in the rear with my evo brembo's or just run an inline. We will see?

I sent Chelsea a money order yesterday for some BC coilovers too.. So, I should get those in a week or so hopefully.
