Lmao hells yes, Stew needs to take it down a notch or two. My passenger was like "uhhh.... Tell them to go first, I don't want to be in the car that gets yelled at by Aaron"

Had a blast at Round 1 yesterday! First time really getting some good tandem in and first time competing, so I have to say I'm definitely happy with the effort I put in to making sure I could go. Leaving the car pretty much how it is and just going to install the rest of my SPL bushings and my tein inner tie rods and make it a stupid simple reliable car to try and make the rest of the season with. I'm now addicted to competing haha.

So far one of my favs from yesterday:

So stoked to tandem some more with you guys! Next round my mission is to get within a foot away from somebody ;)

Drifting Specific / Re: why not doing a drift activity in San Antonio?

I personally have met with Freddy last year because I wanted to organize an event there since there are no events around here, but the price tag for renting it is pretty large. Last time I did the math, the entry fee for drivers would have to be in the  $100-$150 range with at least 25 drivers to break even. Plus the surface isn't really the best, it's about as bad as Mineral Wells. I would have followed through but I was just very unconfident in how many drivers would actually show up. It seems like the second you mention you have to have a helmet and an entry fee all of the street drifters in SA lose interest.

Would definitely be rad if there was an event there though, would be nice having it close to home.  Freddy is a pretty cool guy but he's all business, you would probably be better at discussing things with him than I was

Thanks everyone! And I know it needs moar Grid, just need to find some for a good price... don't really want to pay retail for new ones again, got 6 XXR's for the price of 2 grids >_<

Soooooooo I gotz it toon'd over at UpRev after getting my new exhaust on with Russell. Stopped by SPL as well while I was at UpRev and snagged many a bushings!

Always stoked to get stuff from SPL, they're a fantastic company and great guys.

I absolutely love this exhaust, the sound it puts out is incredible mixed with Russell's test pipes and my headers. Sounds completely different under half throttle than it does under full throttle. Plus it's loud as a spider monkey banging a whale doggie style.

255 whp, 235tq on a DynoJet, 71 degrees 53% humidity for all of you figure buffs.

Pleased with the results, considering it's a stock block and head. Only non bolt-on mod I have is the RevUp motors fuel rail and injectors. Thank God I got there when I did, the base pull wasn't a full pull and only wielded 216 whp 230tq or something, he stopped the pull because it was so lean it scared him. And to think I've been drifting it. -__

Also got to get some of my wheels painted, they came out really good for a rattlecan job. Gonna wait to finish for a couple days, my buddy Nick and I are gonna go on a painting spree and paint all of his wheels orange and all of mine (except for the Grid's) this same blue.

And finally, got a little something you guys might enjoy. Found a use for my old driver seat! I've been wanting to do this for a while, but I recently got a Fanatec Porsche 911 Turbo S wheel for a great price, so we crafted this little gem. Gonna make 2 more to go with my other two wheels to have some badass three-car action. Nerd mode, activate.

I have better pictures somewhere on my laptop or on cards somewhere, but these cell phone pics will have to do for now. After I've returned to Texas I've gotten so unorganized it's not even funny, can't find half of my shit anywhere and lost a couple harddrives and thumb drives, and now I have to go to California next week for more work so I have no idea where any of my things are. But oh well, shit happens when you party naked.

New stuffs.

First shakedown of it:

New exhaust also came in. Just gotta get it on, then its off to UpRev for a tune of sexiness. Then it's waiting for my bushings and hydro ebrake.

Pleeeeeease go 1jz, everyone has ls1's now... Plus, you can't beat the sound of a turbo, let alone the sound of a 1j. Can't wait to see this build finished. I love Cressida's.
