Oh right on. I live over there and head to the 281/1604 part of town a lot so no doubt!
They're pretty awesome. One of the few cars that you can drive 4 1/2 hours comfortably to an event, beat the shit out of it all day long, then drive it back 4 1/2 hours. Super solid cars.
Specs from the tech day:
248whp/233tq (6 less than I made on the mustang dyno at UpRev, with the tubular ling long headers and Russell's super awesome test pipes. Mario lost 10whp on this dyno, so I'm assuming with this current setup I'm making slightly more power than with the old setup)
3043lbs, which I think is pretty rad considering there's a lot of weight that could come out easily. If I wasn't still dailying it, it would all be out already.
41* of angle using just the Tein inner tie rods with the angle spacer. Derrick said if I just play with the steering stops I can get a lot more really easily.
Jason took some super rad photos of the car at the tech day!

So the event was super fun. Big thank you to Aaron for putting on such an awesome season, and everyone who has been helping me along the way with my first season of competing. Although I was able to finish one of my goals of competing in every event of the season, my goal of finishing in the top 10 probably is out the window with my derptastic qualifying runs yesterday. Don't even know what got into me, felt super solid all day long and it just went down the shitter for qualifying. Just wasn't in the right groove.
First lap was just me being all stressed out about other shit and not paying attention. Second lap felt great throughout the sweeper, then when I transitioned everything still felt great. Went to jam it into second, it popped out into neutral. Thanks, tranny. Not the first time you've pulled this bullshit. Freaked out and didn't stop drift yet, went to jam it in again and went full throttle to make up for the second of neutralness and it was too much which lead to a spin. Was super pissed and bummed, but oh well. I had a LOT of fun driving, and that makes up for it.
So now I have 3 sets of tires that still can be burned. Debating on whether to retire the car from drifting until next season and save the tires, or just go to some random MW event or something and burn the bastards. Can't decide.
I guess time for next years plans:
Try and get some sponsors <- if anyone can help with this I really don't know how to go about it, I would REALLY appreciate it!
Bride drivers seat
PPE longtubes (already ordered)
Kind of half-tube the front since I've discovered a gigantic crack in my core support
Get the car up on jack stands and take everything off to reinstall it again properly
Fire supression bullshit
Get the car lighter
Battery relocation
Finally install the FIA battery cutoff shits I've had sitting in my game room for 500 years
cage padding and junk
I've heard the cage regulations for Formula D are changing this year? So I guess get it updated to comply with that
Full corner balance
etc. etc. etc.
