it's been a while since i messed with Nissan junk. i may need a set of 5x114.3 rollers for the Cressida. do the r32 wheels clear Z brakes? GTR wheels should but i don't know if that's what these are.

Trading Post!!! / Pair of UltraShield Rally Pro Aluminum Bucket Seats
« on: November 26, 2012, 10:18:18 AM »
For sale: one pair of Ultrashield Rally Pro seats. These are sturdy, light and great for track/drift/street/hard parking - whatever.

Weight: These are just under 16 lbs each with cover, about a fuckton less than the weight of a stock seat.

Size: 17" without padded cover as measured with a tape across the bottom panel between the sides. I am a 32" waist and with the padded covers they hold me well, if I wanted a tighter fit I'd probably add a little padding under the covers. they'd probably fit up to a 36" comfortably, 38" snug. Removing some of the bolster padding would allow bigger guys to fit.

Layback: I believe these are the 30° layback from the PN# and how they fit in the car.

Mounting: One seat came with tabs welded and the buttpan modified to bolt into an NA Miata without issue. I got some longer bolts from O'Reilly's and they went right in. The second seat has the pan drilled for rear holes but is otherwise untouched.

$600 OBO for both. Interested in trade for Elise seats.

Located in Fort Worth, TX. Prefer local sale but I will ship at buyer's expense.

contact me by PM please.

Trading Post!!! / going out on a limb: 1986(?) Yamaha FZX700 Fazer

My brother needs to sell his bike and asked me to post this up. If there's any interest I can get pics and details.

This is apparently a really rare bike, sold only in 1986 and 1987. It's technically a "naked cruiser" with a DOHC water cooled inline four 700cc motor. I've ridden it, it's a nice all around street bike.

It's all original with a couple scratches and dings but the pearl white paint on the plastics and tank is still shiny and looks great.

The only mechanical issue is the clutch switch, between 2 jobs and working on my cars I haven't had a chance to look at it but it should be a simple fix for me. It hasn't been ridden in several months but I pull it out of the garage and start it for him ever couple weeks.

that's what it looks like, minus the red color.

if you're interested and want more info and pics, email me at goatmonsterman [at] gmail dot com. i'll be getting it out and prepping it for sale this weekend and it will be up on craigs by Monday, so if you think you want it let me know before then. I'd rather not deal with Craigslist buyers if at all possible.

located in benbrook and asking $2,000 obo.

General Discussion / need a block checked/cleaned/decked in fort worth
« on: August 27, 2012, 09:59:47 AM »
picked up a free 2jzge bottom end, complete with fucked set of crank, rods and pistons. got all the bearing caps off except 2, due to the way the crank was rotated when the engine stopped, i can't get these fuckers off with all manner of dirty tricks, my bolt grip sockets did a really nice job of cutting one of the bolts to shit. anyone in dfw have the facility to get them off and check the cylinder bores for me to see if its usable? if so, i'd be looking to get it cleaned up, honed and ready for use.

my friends s14/RB25 harness was equally if not more fucked up, and they kept telling him that it wasn't... eventually after threatening to expose them and sending it back multiple times he got a refund.

shit work and shittier service.

if i wanted to put IRS into a car that did not come with it, i guess s-chassis would be as good of a place to start as any. probably a little easier to find and get parts for too. maybe. if anyone has one just kind of sitting around doing nothing at the moment, would you mind if i borrowed it for test-fitting purposes?

I know there's like 2 other x8 owners here but fuck it anyway. while the Cressida is getting some cleanup work done I figure I'd post these here. I am looking at going a different direction with suspension since I don't drift or track this car. The Megans would be great entry level options for that, but I was thinking about doing something a little more suited to primarily highway driving.

So the coilovers have maybe 8k miles on them or a little over two 3k mile oil changes, they have the standard 12/8 springs. The strut tubes were welded to the knuckles on the fronts by Bryan at Dynosaur so you just bolt them on to your car. These will come with Techno Toy Tuning RCAs that were installed on my car at the same time, so also like new condition.

Asking $950 for it all, and I won't be pulling them off my car until you show up with cash in hand. If you're interested email is goat monster man (at) g mail dawt cawm except without spaces and stuff. located in west Fort Worth.

indiadating? from what i've seen around here, that consists of getting a group of at least 4 of your indian friends and stalking the fuck out of some unlucky girl by walking 2 steps behind her everywhere she goes and sending her threatening text messages in broken english if you see her with a guy. sign me up you fucking guy!
