Thank you for this Aaron. I hope I can see you and all the rest of Tyler's closest friends ripping it up in this car like I know he would want it to be.

Did some driving.

Latest event here in north western Louisiana. K.Tran, Mr. Mcdougal, J. Buck, and T. Cox came up/over to do some tandem and get in on the action. Event was fun.

This was my first time ever doing tandem, so forgive the lack of aggression. Tandem isn't as hard as I thought it would be.

I realllllllyyyyyy want to make this. Time to harvest tires and live on ramen noodles.

Anybody leaving from around the Dallas area? I'm in Wichita falls right now and want to make it to the event but don't want to spend 200 dollars worth of diesel when I'm not going to be drifting. I'm willing to throw in on gas money.

I'll be in Texas at the time so I'll be there spectating.

Media / Re: If nascar was still this awesome I would watch every race.

OMG. I didn't know NASCAR used to be so awesome. I was getting all giddy just watching that. Kind of get the feeling that America has lost touch with it's love for motorsports, traded it in for shopping malls and Lowes home improvement stores....

TV's mounted on the cage in front of the rear seats. Sub in the trunk. Full blast mid drift.

General Discussion / Registering JZX chassis' in Texas
« on: December 19, 2011, 06:16:09 PM »
I have a friend who is about to move back to the states from Japan and has a pretty well set up JZX100 chaser. He's interested in shipping it here and registering it so he can drive it on the street but doesn't even know where to start. I know the guy with the blue Chaser drives his all over the place (can't remember his name... which is pretty bad because I've met him a couple of times), so I'm curious if any of you guys know how he went about it. Not sure if the process is exactly something that should be discussed openly so PM me if needed.

For sale is a driver side Buddy Club super low down side mount seat rail. I recently sold my Z and have no need of these seat rails anymore. They are still in good working order aside from a few scratches from normal wear and tear.

I'm asking $120 USD shipped obo or $100 obo picked up/dropped off local (Shreveport/Bossier)

Reply here or PM me for more details or payment info.

Meet ups / Jan. 14th TRRP standalone Drift Day
« on: December 19, 2011, 01:50:23 PM »

On Saturday January 14th we will be holding another drift day at TRRP. The reason for it being on Saturday is that we will be allowed to use the entire lot. This means faster entry speeds, more intricate course designs, and wider lanes.

ENTRY FEE:

Drivers $25
$10 per spectator (I'm sure we'll have fliers for spectators as the event date gets closer)

EVENT SCHEDULE:

Drifters arrive at 12:00
Drivers meeting and course walkthrough at 12:30
Drifting starts at 1PM
Driving for everyone until 5PM

I need all drifters to be at the drivers meeting on time so I can give everyone the run down.  Flags will be used so I need all drivers to know what they mean.

SAFETY/TECH INSPECTION:

-Must have a minimum of a DOT approved helmet, for drivers and passengers. Motorcycle helmets are acceptable. (I don't want anyone thinking a barbie bicycle helmet will pass inspection). THIS DOESN'T HAVE TO BE ANYTHING FANCY.

-Must have working seat belts (and they must be worn!!!!)

-Batteries must be secured

-Drivers seat must be secured as well as any seat a passenger will be riding in

-No constant fluid leaks

-All wheel studs and lug nuts need to be installed and secured

-ABSOLUTELY NO DRIFTING OUTSIDE OF THE DRIFT COURSE

-No hands outside of windows

-Important not to drive past your limits. We want you to push yourself and improve, but within your abilities. If we set up a third gear course it doesn't mean you have to enter in third gear. Our staffers are there to help everyone improve so just take your time and ask for tips whenever needed.

-If you spin out and knock down a wall of cones, simply exit course and allow time for everyone to go out and reset the section. No big deal. But please don't proceed to knock down even more cones lol.

EVENT LOCATION:

Thunder Road Raceway Park

5700 Thunder Road, Gilliam, LA 71029

This will be a much faster course than the last event. Fix your cars, think about new techniques you can use, whatever you need to do to prepare. Cageless tandem will be allowed for those of you who are comfortable and safe enough for it. Looking forward to another fun and care free event!

If there are any questions please feel free to ask. Hope to see you Texas guys there.

Hope this is in the right section.

I'm hitting fuel cut with mine right now too, but it's from being lazy/broke and having open DP, stock ecu no FCD. LMK how your shit works out. Come to a meet sometime, we're putting together a jzxp one if you still lurk that site.

I still lurk jzxp. Just lmk when and I'll try to hold the car together long enough to make the drive lol.

No V8 for me. I like turbo sounds too much. Ricer status.
